First, let's address what's on everybody's mind. It is confirmed, the new 2025 Ram 2500 will offer an improved Cummins diesel engine option. Allow us to introduce to you the high-output 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel I6 engine. This powerhouse delivers 430 hp and 1,075 pound-feet of torque.
This truck is incredibly fast for a pickup, going from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.9 seconds - much faster than last year's 8.0-second time. All this power allows you to tow a staggering 36,610 pounds. The new TorqueFlite HD eight-speed automatic transmission handles all that power beautifully. Plus, this truck is more fuel-efficient thanks to its 3.42 rear axle ratio.
The second option is not too shabby either. The 6.4L HEMI V8 Engine delivers 405 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque.
Moving on to the interior, we find the same well-appointed cabin as last year. The large center console is back to accommodate larger items like a laptop. Its comfort and size make it the ideal set-up for a mobile office.
You'll find up to 60.7 cubic feet max cargo volume, which you can maximize with the 60/40 rear fold-up split-bench seat. There are 40.9 inches of legroom in the front and 40.2 inches in the rear. As for headroom, another 40.9 in the front and 39.8 in the rear. That means everyone is always comfortable. Part of that is the seating. Regardless of if you choose leather, vinyl, or cloth, you can find your ideal position with power seats. The front seats are heated and ventilated, while the rear seats have heating.
The exterior has been redesigned for 2025 with some beautiful changes that make this truck even more striking. New trim-specific front fascias and grilles immediately make a big difference. Brand-new LED headlamps include twin bi-functional projectors along with front fog lamps for superior visibility.
At the rear are new incandescent tail lamps, which come standard, but you can upgrade to LEDs with Blind-spot Monitoring on select models. That's not all! There's also an updated wheel lineup and two new eye-catching colors. Ram is back with the best lockable bed storage in the segment through the class-exclusive RamBox cargo management system.
It's surprising to see how much technology Ram has packed into this work truck. First of all, it has the largest-in-class available 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen. Otherwise, there's a 12-inch display, which is still big and has a higher resolution than last year.
The display features split-screen capability and Full Array Local Dimming technology. There's also a class-exclusive available 10.25-inch passenger interactive display for navigation, device management, and the ability to view the exterior vehicle cameras.
The 2025 Ram Heavy Duty is the only heavy-duty truck to offer this feature: an HDMI plug that lets occupants connect their phone or tablet and mirror what they see on the screen. You'll find even more tech features like the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, class-exclusive dual wireless phone charging, and digital rearview mirror.
Safety is another shining aspect of the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty lineup. The 2500 introduces new standard safety features that you don't have to pay extra for. These include adaptive cruise control and Forward Collision Warning.
Lane Keep Assist has been made better and now leverages blind spot sensors to be more accurate. Plus, you can find Drowsy Driver Detection and Traffic Sign Information on the cluster.
You're about to discover one of the most diverse lineups in the heavy-duty segment. Each trim level of the 2025 Ram 2500 brings something unique to the table, and you'll find them all soon at our Ram dealership. We've ranked these from most affordable to most expensive, so choose based on the features you can't live without and what your budget allows.
The Tradesman is the entry-level trim that has all the basics you need to get to the worksite. The exterior features practical telescopic trailer tow mirrors. It's stylish with a black grille and black front and rear bumpers. These match perfectly with the 17-inch black steel wheels and black front tow hooks.
Active Grille Shutters and LED Reflector Headlamps with Front LED Fog Lamps complete the look. Inside, you'll find the Ram Work Grade Vinyl Bench and Push-Button Start. Plus, it includes class-exclusive standard adaptive cruise control.
The Big Horn steps things up with stylish chrome front and rear bumpers that match the distinctive chrome grille surrounded by a black insert. You also get 18-inch polished cast aluminum wheels.
Inside, we go from vinyl to cloth seats and have a six-speaker audio system. Electronic trailer brake control and active noise-control system make driving more pleasant, and ParkSense's front and rear parking assist with parking.
The Laramie is the first to offer the upgraded engine option, although it is a paid extra. You get more power with an Exterior 115V AC outlet and 400W inverter. The power heat/fold/telescoping mirrors are now chrome exterior mirrors. Front-door accent lighting and a "Laramie" badge add style.
The cabin gains Uconnect 5 nav with a 12.0-inch touchscreen display and HD radio. This trim gets leather seating with 8-way power adjustability and a rear 60/40 folding seat, plus A/C with dual-zone auto temperature control. The luxury steering wheel includes steering-wheel-mounted audio controls.
The Rebel plays by its own rules with massive 20-inch Black Diamond wheels with off-roading tires. It's one of the more off-road-ready and work-ready models with a 17,750-pound Maximum Gas Towing Capability. You can get the Available Warn Winch with a 6.4L HEMI V8 Engine.
The Rebel also has a Limited Slip Differential with E-Locker and a Mopar Sports Performance Hood, plus fine-tuned Rebel Suspension. Inside, you'll find the 8-way driver seat with an Embossed Tread Pattern and a 12-inch Digital Cluster Display.
As the name suggests, this trim brings power with 17-inch matte black wheels and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tires. It adds power telescopic trailer tow mirrors and a class-exclusive electronic disconnecting front sway bar.
The powder-coated front and rear bumpers and "Power Wagon" decal by Mopar make it stand out. A deployable bed-step by Mopar adds convenience.
This trim level is known for its authentic southwestern style. It brings luxury with the Uconnect 5 nav with a 14.4-inch touchscreen display and a 17-speaker Harmon Kardon premium audio system. Passengers also get their very own display.
Auto-dimming exterior mirrors and rain-sensitive windshield wipers add convenience, along with flat chrome wheel-to-wheel side steps or available power deployable running boards.
The Limited is similar to the previous trim but has a few differences. It comes with 100% leather seating with real wood and aluminum accents. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross path and trailer detection keeps you safe. Class-exclusive dual wireless charging pads keep devices powered up. The radio, driver's seat, mirrors, and pedals have a memory system that remembers your preferences, and a truck bed cargo divider helps organize the bed.
