Iconic Style Meets Thrilling Performance
When Dodge discontinued the Charger in 2023, muscle car fans everywhere felt the sting. Thankfully, its absence was short-lived! Dodge has roared back with the first multi-energy muscle car, and the entire industry can't stop talking about it.
Production of the two-door coupe is already underway, and now the four-door models are coming too. The new 2025 Dodge Charger is arriving at our dealership near Tulsa, OK, and we're over the moon about it. Our Research Hub at CDJR of Chandler has all the shopping tips and vehicle reviews you need, and this guide will walk you through everything that makes the new Charger special.
The fastest muscle car in the world isn't just a fancy title. The 2025 Charger has the numbers to back it up. The Daytona Scat Pack trim delivers a jaw-dropping 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. That translates to 0-60 mph in a blistering 3.3 seconds. It can run the quarter mile in just 11.5 seconds.
The Daytona R/T isn't far behind. It comes with multiple performance-focused Drive Modes. If you need an extra boost, the PowerShot feature gives you 40 additional horsepower for 10 seconds. Perfect for passing on the highway or feeling that extra rush. Driving is more thrilling than ever with Race options like Launch Control, Drift/Donut modes, Line Lock, and Race Prep.
These AWD-only models put serious power at your fingertips. The 2025 Charger will also come in a gas variant for those who prefer traditional power. More on that in the trim Levels section below.
EV technology gets better each year, and the 2025 Charger proves it. At its core is a 400-volt propulsion system. It delivers supercharged V-8 performance with zero emissions. You'll feel an instant torque response the moment you press the pedal. It has both front and rear electric drive modules. The result? Pure muscle car feeling with future-forward technology.
Range anxiety does not exist here. The Dodge Charger Daytona R/T delivers over 317 miles on a charge. The more powerful Daytona Scat Pack still manages an impressive 260 miles. The Adjustable Regenerative Braking and Brake by Wire intelligent braking system enhances control while maximizing efficiency.
Step inside the 2025 Charger, and you'll find a brand-new interior that pays homage to the iconic 1968 Dodge Charger. You'll find familiar cues in the instrument panel, but the overall feel is thoroughly modern. For example, the Pistol grip shifter fits your hand perfectly, and the center console start button adds a touch of drama every time you fire up your ride. The Daytona badging also adds a nice touch to electric models. Gas-powered SIXPACK models get their own Charger badging.
Everything faces the driver in this cabin. From the tilted screens to the flat-bottom steering wheel with controls and paddle shifters, it's all very intuitive. Comfort also comes standard with heated and ventilated front seats. These are available in leatherette, suede, or Nappa leather with black or red inserts.
The Attitude Adjustment Lighting offers 64 colors throughout the cabin and reacts to events like starting the car or changing drive modes – creating an atmosphere as exciting as the drive itself.
The unmistakable Charger profile is back and features a standard widebody design, also inspired by the '68 Charger. The new STLA Large platform provides the foundation for this beauty. New this year is the patent-pending R-wing front aero passthrough that reduces front lift by 30% and drag by 3%.
You'll ride on 18 or 20-inch wheels available in Tech Silver, Satin Carbon, or Black Noise finishes. The "hidden hatch" design creates greater rear access without disrupting the Charger's sleek lines. LED headlights and the red "ring of fire" taillamps ensure everyone notices your arrival and departure.
Look for the Fratzonic text logo near the world's first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust. This system delivers the audible and tangible rumble of an engine, so the electric Charger still sounds like a proper muscle car. It reacts to the actions you take and the mode you drive in to stay as loyal to the original sound as possible.
One-touch experiences define the 2025 Charger's technology philosophy. Drive modes are a tap away. Infotainment controls respond instantly. Climate settings adjust with simple touches. The centerpiece is a 12.3-inch Freestanding Touchscreen. It comes with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Amazon Alexa integration lets you check the weather and more.
You can also choose between a 10.25-inch or 16-inch Digital Cluster Display for all your driving stats. SiriusXM plays through an available nine-speaker Alpine sound system with up to 18 speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer. The head-up display is another modern feature that most drivers will appreciate.
Then, there's the Drive eXperience Recorder. This built-in 1080p/60fps dashcam captures your driving adventures and can even map racing courses. Other tech treats include Performance Pages, EV Pages, wireless charging, TomTom navigation, and the Dodge Digital Key.
With great power comes great responsibility. You'll have loads of it between your hands and under your foot, so advanced safety features are a must. The standard Active Driving Assist System gives the Next-Gen Charger more autonomous driving features than any muscle car ever. It enables the car to take control of acceleration, braking, and lane positioning when you allow it.
Unique features like tire-to-curb distance warning and a front tire-to-curb camera help protect those beautiful wheels. Then, there are more traditional features like Turn Signal-Activated Blind Spot Monitoring and Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Emergency Braking.
For tight spaces, the 360-degree surround view camera and Parksense sensors make parking this beast a breeze.
Currently, two official trim levels are available for the 2025 Dodge Charger, with a gas version coming later this year. Both electric Daytona trims will be available in coupe or 4-door configurations with identical features. Visit the Patriot Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership to see the four doors as soon as they arrive.
The entry-level R/T model delivers muscle car thrills with cutting-edge technology. While Dodge proudly maintains the Charger's muscle car heritage, this electric evolution packs more high-tech features than its predecessors. The R/T comes standard with 18-inch wheels, LED headlights and fog lights for superior visibility, and convenient rain-sensing wipers. Comfort and convenience abound with keyless entry and start, cloth seats enhanced with synthetic leather trim, practical fold-flat rear seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The R/T's electric motors use standard four-wheel drive trains to produce a combined 456 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade that output by 40 horsepower with an optional PowerShot feature. This particular model also comes with a trim-exclusive Blacktop Package, which includes black 20-inch wheels and dark exterior badging.
The Dodge Charger Scat Pack outperforms in, well, performance. Clocking in a 3.3-second 0-60 time and an 11.5-second quarter-mile race time, it offers a whopping 185 more horsepower than the previous Charger Scat Pack. Meanwhile, where the newest R/T has already-decent
standard Auto, Sport, Eco and Wet/Snow capabilities, the Scat Pack has Track and Drag modes for optimal dragstrip launch and straight-line acceleration on both smooth and dry surfaces.
The Scat Pack's aggressive capabilities are supported by performance-oriented hardware including sport suspension tuning, larger 20-inch wheels, and high-performance Brembo brakes front and rear. Inside, the technology takes a step up with an expansive 16-inch digital instrument panel and a practical head-up display that projects crucial driving information directly onto the windshield, keeping your eyes where they belong – on the road ahead, or perhaps the quickly disappearing competition behind you.
The Dodge Charger Daytona catalog currently comprises four-wheel drive R/T and Scat Pack coupes. Four-door electric models are set to begin production in 2025. These new 2025 Dodge Charger releases are a big part of Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which aims to cut its global carbon footprint by 50% by 2030 and reach net carbon zero by 2038. A new 400V propulsion system powers all Daytonas.
Gas powered 2025 Dodge Charger vehicles are made in R/T, Scat Pack, and potentially GT trims. Across these levels, shoppers can choose between SIXPACK single-output and SIXPACK high-output systems. All have standard all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission and are available with either two doors or four doors.
Otherwise, you can expect many of the outstanding features seen in other 2024 and 2025 Chargers – including premium sound audio systems, digital displays and adjustable ambient lighting – plus special sport suspension tuning, 20-inch wheels, and Brembo front and rear brakes.
