Since rolling its first car off the assembly line in November of 1914, Dodge has been an important industry leader. The first vehicle to feature the ram hood ornament, a symbol of prestige and class, wasn't until 1932, and that was just a car. It would take until 1981 before Dodge released the first Ram Truck, and it has not stopped since then.
